Last September, I had the opportunity to attend EUROSOIL 2025 together with the Environmental Soil Science, Chemistry and Agricultural Technology Team of the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT). This congress is one of the most relevant international events in the field of soil science, bringing together researchers, practitioners and policy makers to discuss advances in soil functioning, management and restoration.
Amazing week at Paris! From 8th to 13th September 2024, I participated in the First International SUITMA Summer School.
Last Monday I closed a stage in my academic career, I defended the work of these almost 5 years that has been my doctoral thesis in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of the University of Granada. It was an incredible day of enjoyment, in which I learned a lot.

Last week I went to Vienna (Austria) to conduct our session “Challenges and solutions for assessment, prevention and mitigation of contamination of urban soils and mines as ecotoxicological and human health risks” and present some research at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly of 2023.

Last week we attended to the IX Congreso Ibérico de Ciencias del Suelo (CICS 2022) held in Oeiras – Lisbon (Portugal) from 22 to 24 June 2022 to present some of our research.
Last May I went to Vienna (Austria) to conduct our session “Innovative and holistic approaches to prevent, assess and mitigate soil pollution: integrating natural solutions with advanced data analysis and digital tools” and present some research at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly of 2022.
From 1st to 6th July 2019 I participated together with colleagues from the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of the University of Granada in the first theoretical-practical course and contest of soil science in the subject, organized by the Spanish Soil Science Society (SECS).
